After splendid shows in ‘Pizza‘ and ‘Jigarthanda‘, Karthik Subbaraj is aiming a hat trick with ‘Iraivi’, jointly produced by C V Kumar’s Thirukumaran Entertainment and K E Gnanavel Raja’s Studio Green.

According to sources in the unit, the shoot has been wrapped up. “Post Production works have started. First look of ‘Iraivi’ is to be revealed on Diwali and the movie is gearing up for December release.”

Vijay Sethupathi, S J Suryah, Bobby Simhaa, Anjali, Kamalini Mukherjee and Pooja Deavariya among others have played key roles in this flick. As the title suggests, it is a women oriented subject.

Talking about the film in a recent interview, Karthik Subbaraj said, “women in our family, like our mothers, aunts and sisters, have played a crucial role in our lives. This film is an attempt to explore the so far unexplored world of them. I am happy to work with Vijay Sethupathi and Bobby Simha again.”
