There are lots of excitements for the film buffs as they will be having lots of movies to catch up for the weekend during the Pooja holidays.
One among them is Vijay Sethupathi-Nayantara starrer ‘Naanum Rowdy Dhaan’ directed by Vignesh Shivan. The film is produced by Dhanush under the banner of Wunderbar Films with Anirudh composing music.
Nearly two months after the release of the critically acclaimed ‘Orange Mittai’, actor Vijay Sethupathi is back with his big screen outing ‘Naanum Rowdy Dhaan’. A true perfectionist, Vijay Sethupathi went on a strict diet and worked out on a regular basis in order to do justice to the action sequences in ‘Naanum Rowdy Dhaan’.
Vijay Sethupathi-Nayantara
There were lots of enthrallment when Vijay Sethupathi was reported of teaming up with Nayantara. But then with the first look teaser and posters unveiling the beautiful pair of Vijay Sethupathi and Nayantara. Nayantara has dubbed herself for the first time.
Romantic-comedy is a rarity
Romantic-Comedy is something that makers of Tamil cinema not often attempt to make. Vignesh Shivan made his debut with Poda Podi, which was one such genre and this one is going to be yet again the same arena, but with the toast of some action and thriller elements.
Parthiepan as baddie
While Parthiepan has been showcasing his eminence as filmmaker and screenwriter, the actor is now playing baddie for the first time in this movie. Locking horns between Vijay Sethupathi and Parthiepan, with Nayantara being a major reason prompts us for a secret reason. Ah! This is something really impressive to watch out for.
Anirudh – The chap with magical wand
Of course, his magical wand happens to be one of the most prominent features that enhance a film, though it’s a mediocre and now this one is really special. The young musician has churned out songs that have already topped the markets.
Director's own life story
Interestingly, the director has drawn inspiration from his own life to sketch the character of Vijay Sethupathi.
Cherishing colours and costumes
Everything in every frame looks rich and splendid. Thanks to cinematographer George C Williams who had already delivered some good works in Raja Rani and Kaththi. Moreover, the costumes looks so simple yet attractive making the stars more embellished.
