Actor Bharath plays the lead role in Simba, a movie that speaks about one's life that revolves around his pet.

Premgi Amaran is sharing screen with Bharath. Unlike his Bharath's films, he has a challenging role which he delivered well, say sources in the unit.

Directed by Aravindh Sridhar and produced by Svaneshwaran, the movie has Tollywood actress Banu mehra as heroine. Ramana plays a prominent role. The filmmaker says, 'We have tried a different concept in the film. It is a black comedy that dwells on the concept of hallucination. We know the bond shared between a man and his pet. This forms the crux of the movie'. The movie would bring laurels to Bharath.

He has come up trumps playing a difficult character, says Aravindh Sridhar. Music is by Vishal Chandrasekhar, who worked in movies including Appuchi Gramam. Cinematographer Seenu Siddharth had done 15 films in Malayalam.

In Simbha, a he shot a five-minute sequence without a break using 100 cameras, adds the filmmaker. Director Venkat Prabhu plays a cameo and a top heroine would appear in a couple scenes that will throw a string message. Shooting for the movie is almost complete and plans are on for an early release.
