With so many big releases happening in 2015, few have turned out to be mediocre, some surprises and few topping the box office list.

According to the current scenario, the trade analysts have predicted that Ajith Kumar's Vedalam has crossed the best graph becoming No. 1 box office collection in 2015 following which Kanchana 2 holds No.2 position.

Thani Oruvan becomes the third biggest collection in box office and with the year coming to an end, there doesn't seem to be any big releases in the next few days.

While Ajith Kumar's Vedalam managed to sweep and spin with huge profits much prior to the release, Thani Oruvan had the fame spread out right after the early morning shows through viral word of mouth publicity.

Similarly, Raghava Lawrence's Kanchana 2 was released along with Mani Ratnam's O Kadhal Kanmani striking gold.
