Days after he made some ‘sexist remarks’ on Anushka at the audio launch of ‘Size Zero’ (Telugu version of ‘Inji Iduppazhagi’) in Hyderabad, ace Telugu comedian Ali has apologised for his act.

Addressing the audience at the event, Ali reportedly said, “Anushka looks like a hot Jalebi who everybody likes to eat.” He also told the anchor of the function: “You had asked the other girl (Sonal Chauhan) to slap her thighs. However, she has no thighs. Anushka has really remarkable thighs. Ever since I saw her in ‘Billa’ (Telugu version, which had Prabhas in the lead), I became her fan.”

As his remarks evoked strong protests from various quarters, Ali apologised for his unintentional but hurtful comments. The actor, who earlier made some comments against Samantha, said that they were taken on a lighter note by heroines and industry insiders since they really know what he is.

Ali’s wife too has come to his support, stating that her husband was innocent. In the meantime, Ali has also issued a warning that he will not spare such people who will make such issues controversial in the social media.
