Vijay Sethupathi and director Seenu Ramasamy, who teamed up for the yet-to-be-released ‘Idam Porul Eval’, will join hands once again.

Seenu Ramasamy is currently held up in the post-production works of Idam Porul Yaeval starring Vijay Sethupathi and Vishnu Vishal. He is also in the process of finalising his next project back again with the Pizza actor for the third time. Their new film together has been titled ‘Dharmadurai’.

“However, this is not a remake of a Superstar Rajinikanth’s movie of the same title. Only the title will be used after obtaining permission. The script is a fresh one and it will be set in a town,” sources in the know say.

The director holds the credit for making Vijay Sethupathi debut in the lead role through his second film, Thenmerku Paruvakatru. The movie will be produced by R K Suresh under Studio 9 Productions banner. It is notable that Vijay Sethupathi has recently encountered with a misunderstanding with RK Suresh of this production house regarding the release of Vasantha Kumaran. “The problems between the producer and the actor have been sorted out,” sources said.

The music will be composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja and the shooting is likely to kickstart from December.

At present, Vijay Sethupathi is busy with films such as ‘Iraivi’, ‘Kadhalum Kadanthu Pogum’ and ‘Sethupathi’. In ‘Sethupathi’ directed by Arunkumar of ‘Pannayarum Padminiyum’ fame, the ‘Soodhu Kavvum’ actor is playing a police officer for the first time.
