The latest trend happening over Kollywood is that many young heroes who aren't able to showcase a prominent status through their protagonist roles are switching over to negative characters.

Initially, it is Vikranth who has been signed to perform role in Udhayanidhi Stalin-Amy Jackson starrer 'Gethu', directed by Thirukumaran of Maan Karate fame.

The film is getting ready for release shortly on December 18 and audio launch by end of this month. Following the foot prints of Vikranth, Sibiraj too has opted to play a baddie in Jiiva-Hansika Motwani starrer Pokkiri Raja. The film is directed by Ramprakash Rayappa, who earlier made his debut through the movie 'Tamizhukku En Ondrai Azhuthavum'.

2015 has been a prominent year for baddies as many leading heroes stepped into the shoes of villains surprising as vividly.
