A mega project is in the pipeline, if one is to go by the grapevine in the industry- Ajith will join hands with director A R Murugadoss for a film to be produced by Udhayanidhi Stalin’s Red Giant Movies.

According to sources, Murugadoss met Ajith recently and narrated him an one-line. “Both have in-principle agreed to make the movie and further talks are on,” they added.

It may be recalled that Murugadoss made his directorial debut with Ajith-starrer ‘Dheena’ in early 2000s. It was from this film Ajith got his popular sobriquet ‘Thala’.

Meanwhile, Ajith will soon start shooting for his next film with Siruthai Siva, while Murugadoss will make a Tamil-Telugu bilingual with Mahesh Babu in the lead. “Hence, the Ajith-Murugadoss project will start materialising only by the end of this year,” sources said.
