Finally, G V Praksh Kumar‘s maiden heroic venture ‘Pencil‘ is making its way to theatres. The music composer-turned-actor has announced that the film would see the light of the day on April 22.


“After 2 years of struggle finally pencil in theatres from April 22 .. With ur support and blessings,” Prakash posted on his online page.

Though GVP ventured into doing lead roles with ‘Pencil’, his other movies such as ‘Darling’ and ‘Trisha Illana Nayanthara’ hit the screens first and he is now one of the bankable young heroes of the industry.

Directed by debutante Mani Nagaraj, ‘Pencil’, tipped to be a school thriller, has Sri Divya as heroine. While GVP himself has scored the music, cinematography is by Gopi Amarnath. Recently, the film was cleared by the Censor with U/A certificate.
