Oscar-Grammy winner A R Rahman will compose music for ‘Sachin: A billion dreams’, a biopic on master blaster Sachin Tendulkar. Interestingly, the cricket legend himself will don the greasepaint for the movie.

Sharing the happy news on his social media page, Rahman posted: “Glad to be part of this film with Sachin Tendulkar.” The teaser of the movie will be released tomorrow (April 14).

Updating this, Sachin wrote: “Thank you for all the love and support over the years! Watch the #SRTteaseron14thApril at 1 PM on @SachinTheFilm.” Sachin also revealed the first look of the biopic.

It instantly became viral on the net, with many top celebrities themselves raving about it. For instance, Shah Rukh Khan posted: “This one I have to watch.”

Directed by James Erskine of ‘Shooting for Socrates’ (2014) fame, the film is being bankrolled by a Mumbai-based production company ‘200NotOut’.
