Ajith's 'Valimai' do not have any promotion

Boney Kapoor, the producer of Ajith's Valimai, took to Twitter to clarify that the team will not indulge in any promotional activities during Covid-19 pandemic.

Actor Ajith who was last seen in the 2019 superhit Ner Konda Paarvai directed by H Vinoth has yet again joined hands with the director and the producer of the movie Boney Kapoor for his 60th movie Valimai.

Valimai which will have Ajith playing a police officer will be an international action entertainer which also stars Huma Qureshi and Yogi Babu and has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja. While shooting has been halted due to Corona, fans had been demanding an update from Boney as tomorrow is Ajith's birthday.

Now, Boney Kapoor's Bayview Projects has officially announced that at the tough times of corona there won't be any PR activity for any of their production ventures. "As the entire world fights Covid-19, Bayview Projects along with the concerned artist's and technicians of our films have mutually decided that we shall not do any PR activity or promote any film of ours till we overcome this critical time. Till then let us all together fight this battle" read the statement.

Valimai is an action thriller directed by H Vinoth. The film went on floors in December 2019 and major portions were shot at Ramoji Rao Film City, Hyderabad. Bollywood actress Huma Qureshi, who made a grand debut in Tamil with Rajinikanth's Kaala, will be playing Ajith's love interest in the flick.
