Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan met each other during the shoot of Naanum Rowdy Dhaan in 2015 and become an instant hit. Nayanthara played the female lead in the movie. Their relationship has been rock solid ever since and it is visible in their relentless support to each other. It was also the second film directed by Vignesh Sivan. The film marked a major turning point in the director’s career. Nayanthara fell in love with Vignesh Shiva after she ended her relationship with Prabhu Deva.
The new Instagram video released by Vignesh Shiva during Lockdown has become noticeable. Vicky posted an old video from 'Naanum Rowdy Dhaan' shooting spot. The director posted the video with the caption "Once upon a time in PondyWood!". The director also posted a hashtag called “Moments That Will Never Forget”. Written and directed by Vignesh, the 2015 comedy follows the love story between Kadambari, a hearing-impaired girl played by Nayanthara and Pandian (Vijay Sethupathi), a son of a cop, who tries to take down a ruthless politician who took the lives of Kadambari's parents.
Nayanthara, who was last seen in Atlee's Vijay-starrer, 'Bigil', will next be seen in yet another Vignesh directorial 'Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal', alongside Vijay Sethupathi and Samantha Akkineni. She will also be seen in RJ Balaji's 'Mookuthi Amman'. With its music by Anirudh Ravichander, the film also stars RJ Balaji, Parthiepan and Radikaa Sarathkumar, among others.
