Tharshan, who raised to fame after contesting in a popular television channel Vijay TV's Bigg Boss Season 3 hosted by Kamal Haasan, was all set to make his in screen debut in Kamal's production house Rajkamal Films’ next venture.

In one of the episodes of Bigg Boss 3, host Kamal announced that RKFI has signed Tharshan and he will be part of their future works. However coronavirus pandemic and nationwide lockdown altered all plans and the shootings were cancelled.

Earlier this year, the model-turned-actor surprised his fans by announcing that he has signed a project with a big production house and the first-look poster will be out soon. The source also added that the film will be directed by a debutant. An official announcement regarding the cast and crew will be made in June.

According to the latest reports, Anirudh Ravichander has been roped in to compose music for Tharshan's debut film. We also hear that popular production house Ayngaran International will be bankrolling the project and the shoot is likely to begin post the novel coronavirus crisis.

Tharshan had shot for a film titled Magie, before entering the Bigg Boss house. However, the project got shelved due to various issues. Directed by a debutant, the film also features his ex-girlfriend Sanam Shetty.
