Ever since director Pa. Ranjith announced his movie with Arya, the actor has been seen training his physique to play boxer in the movie. Titled Salpetta, the movie will mark Arya's 30th film. The movie is set against the backdrop of North Madras .

The actor has stunned his fans by sharing a picture of his ripped physique on social media. Arya has been hitting the gym hard to attain a chiseled body for his role as a boxer. Even during the lockdown period macho man does everything to build up the muscles. The actor posted a video of him doing a core strengthing excercise with a foam roller with a caption "Strengthening the core for further lockdown 💪💪💪#Staysafe". Watch the video here:

Dushara, who made her Tamil debut with Bodhai Yeri Budhi Maari, playing female lead for this film. This movie also stars Magizh Thirumeni, Kalaiyarasan and Santosh Prathap, and has music by Santhosh Narayanan.
