Many have binge watched in Money Heist during this lockdown and it’s one of the most watched shows in India. The show has become a sensation in India, with many actors, including Bollywood's Ayushmann Khurrana and Kartik Aaryan, expressing their desire to be part of the show. Now in an interview for Indian youtube channel, director Alex Rodrigo picked up the cast for Indian version of the show.

When questioned about who could take up the role of professor in an Indian version of Money Heist he has chosen actor Thalapathy Vijay to take up the role. He further said Thalapathy Vijay with his facial structure and bearded look would be the perfect match to become professor. Thalapathy fans are elated and are trending #Moneyheist on social media, some of them are even looking forward to the Indian version of this series.

While he believed that Vijay could pull of Professor and Ajith could play Bogota, Alex also felt that Shah Rukh Khan would be perfect as Berlin while Ranveer Singh would make great Denver. He also happened to mention Mahesh Babu as Tamayo and Suriya as Suarez.

Vijay as Professor

Alex chose 'Thalapathy' Vijay to play the role of Sergio 'El Profesor' Marquina, who led the gang of criminals dressed up in red jumpsuits and a Salvador Dali mask to conduct the biggest robbery of their lives.

Ajith as Bogota

Remember Nairobi's lover Bogota? Alex thought none other than 'Thala' Ajith could pull off the role.

Suriya as Suarez

Suriya as Suarez
A commando who knows his duties and has a good heart? Suriya could easily pull off the character of Suarez, according to Alex.

Shah Rukh Khan as Berlin

Ranveer Singh as Denver
