The young music composer Anirudh Ravichander who bagged a biggie 'Indian 2', is very excited to work with Director Shankar. It marks the composer's first project with Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan and Director Shankar.

In a recent interaction, composer Anirudh Ravichander showered lavish praise on director Shankar and his working experience in Indian 2 starring Kamal Haasan and produced by Lyca.

The 'Master' composer said, "If at all I am a fan of any director, it's none other than Shankar sir. It's just the 90s kids concept as we have grown up watching his hit films like Gentleman, Kadhalan till the latest Endhiran & Sivaji. Shankar sir is like a dear friend and an elder brother to me. He always gets the best out of you. So obviously, Indian 2 will be a very special film for me.”

Talking about the ace director, Anirudh said, "He is one of the best people to work with. I have not done too many films, probably 20 odd films, but in this it is so unexpected. What we think of is that it will be different from the rest while working with such a big director who is considered one of India's biggest director.."

Anirudh is waiting for the lockdown to be completely over and the audio launch of 'Indian 2' to happen. The film has Kajal Aggarwal and Rakul Preet Singh are playing the female leads. Siddharth & Priya Bhavani Shankar in important roles and actor Vivek sharing screen space for the first time with Kamal Haasan.
