It was reported a week back that Arjun and Jiiva will be joining together for a new film titled Medhavi. Touted to be a horror-thriller, the movie will be directed by lyricist, actor and filmmaker Pa Vijay.

Pa Vijay initially turned to direction after acting in a couple of movies like Ilaignan and Gnabagangal. After having directed Strawberry, a horror movie released in 2015 and Aarudhra in 2018, the talented lyricist has returned to direction again.

Now with 'Medhavi', the recent speculations reports that the actor Jiiva will be playing a role of an assistant director. Apart from Jiiva, Arjun will be seen as a cop donning the roles of an investigative officer. Raashi Khanna plays the female lead in the film in the role of a journalist.

Medhavi will also star Radha Ravi, YG Mahendran, Kaithi-fame Dheena, Azhagam Perumal, Rohini, and Priyanka Shankar, in important roles. While Yuvan Shankar Raja will be in charge of the music, Deepak Kumar Padhy (Dhilluku Dhuddu 2) will be behind the camera.

Medhavi will be shot at various locations like Chennai and overseas and the film is expected to go on floors after the coronavirus lockdown is lifted.
