Well known Tamil Lyricist Pa Vijay made his directorial debut with a horror movie 'Strawberry' back in 2015, which was not fruitful. His second movie Aarudhra release in 2018 with saw an average run.

Now Pa Vijay is back in directing another movie, announced the film titled as 'Medhavi', this time he has roped in actor Jiiva and action king Arjun play the lead roles in the film along with Raashi Khanna. May be he made a good choice by not acting in it, because in his previous two movies he played the lead role.

It is work to mention that the Lyricist choose to direct after acting in a couple of movies like Ilaignan and Gnabagangal.

Said to be horror thriller, it would be interesting to see how he handles Jiiva and Arjun under his direction. The film will have music by Yuvan Shankar Raja with cinematography by Deepak Kumar Padhy. The supporting cast of the film includes Radharavi, Y.G.Mahendran, Rohini, Azhagam Perumal, Kaithi-fame KPY Dheena, Sha Ra and Robo Shankar’s daughter, Priyanka.

Under the banner of Makkal Arasan Pictures, Methavi will be produced by S.Raja who celebrated his birthday today, so comes the announcement of the movie with title poster and the film is expected to go on floors after the coronavirus lockdown is lifted.
