Vijay Sethupathi, Parthiban and Sathyaraj together for K.S Ravikumar's OFT film
Vijay Sethupathi, Parthiban and Sathyaraj join hands for a new initiative a film executed by veterans R.B. Choudary, Tirupur Subramaniam, Pyramid Natrajan and K.S. Ravikumar in a unique manner.

The main cast and lead technicians will get no remuneration beforehand the work will be done on a profit-sharing basis. Sources say the film is planned to be made on a profit-sharing basis and will be released in theatres before going to OTT after 100 days.

Revealing the details, Subramaniam said, "K.S Ravikumar, known for meticulous planning and a quick working style, has promised to wrap up the shoot in 30 days. And the total budget (excluding the salaries of director and actors) is evaluated to be around `2 crores. This production cost will be split as 200 shares among film industry members. If no investors come forward, Choudary and I will share this money."

"The production design will be taken care of by Natarajan. This film will be released only in theatres that have a computer-based ticketing system. According to my knowledge, 90% of the theatres have a computer-based ticketing system. This film is going to be completely transparent. We wish this new concept of filmmaking becomes a trendsetter, this model will definitely reap profits for everybody involved in a film. This scheme was actually introduced by Rajinikanth who bought only the NSE region’s profits as his salary for his film Annamalai. The film will release under RB Choudhary sir’s Super Good Films banner.", said Tirupur Subramaniam

While VSP and Parthiban will play significant cameos, Sathyaraj will essay the protagonist. Other members of the casting and technical crew are being worked out. Work on the movie will begin once the government permits shoots. It will be released on OFT (Only For Theatres). After a hundred days, the makers will release it on OTT and TV channels.
