Prithviraj and Biju Menon’s Malayalam hit Ayyappanum Koshiyum is winning praise from all quarters. The Sachy directorial’s Tamil and Telugu rights have already been sold.

According to reports quoting sources from the movie’s team, the Hindi remake rights for Sachy’s directorial has been sold. The movie is speculated to be remade in Tamil with Sarathkumar and Sasikumar, though there's no official confirmation yet on the project. Many stars have watched Ayyappanum Koshiyum and have praised the movie. Most recently Tamil actor Ashok Selvan was lauded the movie and the latest to join them is Vishnu Vishal.

Prithviraj is at the moment stuck in Jordan due to lockdown, and he had went there to shoot for his movie Aadujeevitham.

This action thriller’s story revolves around the conflict between Ayyappan Nair (Biju Menon), a Sub-inspector and Koshy Kurien (Prithviraj), an influential and ex-Havildar. Despite having a runtime of close to 3 hours, the film got highly positive reviews from the general audience and critics for its highly engaging screenplay and exciting face-offs between the lead actors.
