Sushant Singh Rajput was known for movies like 'MS Dhoni the Untold story', 'Kai Po Che', 'PK', 'Chhichhore'. The young actor commited suicide on June 14 due to depression claims the report.

Now, 'Bigil' producer has revealed an interesting connection between Sushant Singh Rajput and Thalapathy Vijay in 'Bigil'. Vijay starrer Bigil directed by Atlee, which was released in 2019 Diwali and had Vijay playing dual roles as father and son.

'Bigil' had Vijay, Nayanthara, Jackie Shroff, Kathir, Indhuja, Amritha Aiyer, Varsha Bollamma, Reba Monica John among others in the lead role. The film was a sports drama and Vijay played a dual role in the film, that of a father, and a son. One among them was a football player and then a coach for a women's team and an older character 'Rayappan', who is a local don.

'Bigil' producer Archana Kalpathi of AGS Entertainment has revealed in an interview that initially Atlee and team wanted to cast a senior actor for the father role Rayappan. But after Preethi Sri, a Mumbai based cosmetologist, showed them photos of Sushant Singh Rajput's old looking getup from 'Chhichhore', Atlee and the entire team was convinced that they can make Vijay himself play the father Rayappan role with old look. After seeing the rough sketch, Vijay loved it and immediately agreed to play Rayappan.

'Chhichhore' directed by Nitesh Tiwari, was Sushant's last film to release which had Sushant played as a teenage college student and an aged father in different time frames.
