JSK film corporation, which gave some outstanding movies for Kollywood like 'Thanga Meengal', 'Naduvula Konja Pakkatha Kanom' and 'Paradesi', is releasing some of its long pending movies in OTT platform.

It is worth to mention that, Kamal Haasan tried to release his 'Vishwaroopam' on the Direct-To-Home channel faced a storm in the film circles. Kamal Haasan has to eventually settled for a compromise and couldn't implement the idea due to pressure from theatre owners.

Seven years later, it appears that invisible coronavirus is doing what Kamal couldn't do in film industry.

The on-going COVID-19 crisis has forced theatres and multiplexes to shut the doors. As per reports, the pandemic has led to a whopping loss of Rs 5000 crore. Production houses are skipping the theatrical releases for few noteworthy indian movies and premiering them directly on OTT platforms. Amazon Prime Video which released 'Ponmagal Vandhaal' on its platform earlier this month is releasing 'Penguin' next week.

Meantime, Producer-turned-actor J Satish Kumar of 'JSK film corporation' announced to release it's long pending three films 'Vaa Deal', 'Andava Kaanom' and 'Mummy Save Me' on OTT digital platforms. His official tweet reads, "Happy to announce our @JSKfilmcorp films #Andavakanom #vaadeal #mummysaveme will be released soon in OTT " .

These movies were lying in shelves for a while, even years, to be specific. It is a good news for the movie fans and the production house indeed, as these three films are finally seeing the light. This OTT release news has taken the fans by surprise and has created a good buzz on social media.

Vaa Deal

'Vaa Deal' has Arun Vijay and Karthika Nair playing the lead roles, directed by Rathina Shiva, the movie was ready to release in 2015. The makers released the trailer of the action thriller 5 years ago but couldn't get a release date. Besides the lead pairs, Vamsi, Satish, Renuka and Jayaprakash are playing supporting roles. Produced by Feather Touch Entertainments, the music is by S.Thaman and camera by Gopi.


Andaava Kaanom

'Andaava Kaanom' is directed by C. Velmathi with Vinod Munna, Shreya Reddy in the lead role. The film is about a bold woman named Shanthi, who loses her 'Anda’ which causes a havoc in her village and how things get solved forms the crux of the story. The fllm has Music by Ashwamithra. Co-produced by J.Satishkumar & V.S.Rajkumar, P V Shankar is handling camera, editing by Sathyaraj and art direction by Muthu.


Mummy Save me

'Mummy Save me', a 2016 Kannada horror-thriller, which was dubbed in Tamil, has been waiting for its release for more than 3 years now. The film is about a pregnant woman and her 6 year old daughter, who moves into a Goan villa after a tragic incident, they soon realise that the villa is haunted by a spirit.

He has further stated that he will begin production of three other films and more details will be revealed soon. In a tweet, he wrote, "We are starting 3 big films cast & crew details will be officially announced soon .seeking ur support as usual."
On the acting front, J Satish Kumar will be seen in few upcoming films including Sibi Satyaraj's Kabadadaari, Harbhajan Singh-starrer Friendship, and Agni Siragugal starring Vijay Antony.
