Actress-politician Khushbu Sundar's WhatsApp voice message is mired in a controversy. After Tamil Nadu government has given permission for TV content shoots by following safety measures, many tele-serial resumed shoot from yesterday.

On Tuesday, Khushbu sent a voice message in the WhatsApp group asking Small Screen Producers' Association to follow the necessary guidelines provided by the Government while filming on the serial shoot. The group of television producers have reportedly leaked the audio clip online.

According to reports, Kushbu commented on media saying they will be closely watching the shooting process and if there are any irregularities, they would immediately report and rip celebs apart as they don't have any news other than COVID-19. The actor mentioned media people as 'presskaran', which did not go down well with the media as she disrespected the press in it.

Khushbu, after voice message about the media has now gone viral on social media, clarified that someone edited her voice message and leaked it. Khushbu said that it's the tone she speaks with friends and not meant to hurt the press. She also apologized if the audio message hurt them.

Khushbu wrote, "My voice message, an edited version, regarding the press is making rounds. It has gone from our producers' group n I am ashamed to say we have such cheap minds among us. My intentions were clear n not meant to disrespect the press. Its a tone you speak within friends." in twitter.

She further added that she has never disrespected media in her 34 years career. "My respect for the press is for all to see and journalists can vouch for that. Not even once in my 34yrs of cinema they would have ever seen or heard me speaking to them nor about them in disrespect. The voice message is half. But my sincere apologies if I have hurt any of you," her tweet read.

Her next post read, "Very unfortunately you realize those who you work for are the ones who try and stab you behind your back. I know which producer has done this..but i shall not name them. My silence and forgiveness is their biggest punishment. There is lot more to be done and I shall continue."

Khushbu Sundar also stressed on the fact that she will continue her good work and won't let these controversies affect her.
