Mysskin's Next: One with Simbu and another with Arun Vijay

Mysskin confirms his next two projects; action thriller with Simbu and a cop thriller with Arun Vijay.
Mysskin's last outing 'Psycho' gave a super hit film for Udayanidhi Stalin after many years. The film had Udhayanidhi Stalin as the lead actor, while Nithya Menen was seen in a key role.

After the director walked away from 'Thupparivaalan 2' with Vishal, there were reports stating that Mysskin has plans to do a film with Thadam actor Arun Vijay which is a sequel to 2008 thriller Anjathe, though it was not officially confirmed. At the same time there was another report stating that Mysskin is also in talks with Simbu to do a film.

Per the latest report, 'All In Pictures' which produced Jiiva starrer 'Gorilla' will be bankrolling the Mysskin - Arun Vijay film. Mysskin confirmed that he had held talks with Arun Vijay and Simbu for his next two films. Also, Mysskin confirmed in a recent interview that the film with Arun Vijay is not a sequel to 'Anjathe'.

"I've already fixed the title for the film. Very soon, I will make an official announcement. Arun Vijay is a talented actor, now he has also got a good script", said Mysskin. He also added that the movie is a cop based action thriller.

After wrapping up Arun Vijay's film, Mysskin will join hands with STR. Simbu will be next seen in 'Maha' with Hansika Motwani. He also has 'Maanaadu' directed by Venkat Prabhu. Reports say that Simbu will work with Mysskin only after completing 'Maanadu'. 'Maanadu' has ensemble of cast list including SJ Suryah, Daniel Annie Pope, SA Chandrasekar, Baradhiraja among the others. Meantime Mysskin is planning to complete the yet to be titled project with Arun Vijay.

Mysskin confirmed that movie with Simbu is an action thriller. He was quoted as saying, "After wrapping up Maanaadu, STR and I will team up. It’s a full-fledged action film and there is a comical character travels throughout. I’m planning to rope in either Vadivelu or Vivek for that film." Report state that this film would be bank rolled by Studio Green. Official announcement is expected after the lockdown is lifted.
