Sivakarthikeyan who started his career in entertainment industry as a television stand-up comedian and host of television host entertained the audience with his hilarious comic acts.

Sivakarthikeyan made his silver screen debut in Pandiraj's direction with the 2012 film 'Marina', and he continued to act in supporting roles. Sivakarthikeyan then shifted to do lead roles, and rose to fame as one of the top actor in South Indian film industry. From playing the hero’s friend to becoming a bankable star with a strong fan base, Sivakarthikeyan has come a long way.

His last movie 'Hero' was released in December 2019 and received positive response from critics and audiences. The movie is directed by P.S.Mithran with Sivakarthikeyan, Arjun, Kalyani Priyadarshan and Abhay Deol playing lead roles in the film. It also marks Kalyani Priyadarshan Tamil debut. Yuvan Shankar Raja scored the music. This science-fiction thriller premiered in Sun TV on 24th May 2020 at 6:30 pm, after court lifts the telecast ban on the film due to plagiarism case.
The movie has earned TRP of 9.6 rating and took the top spot in the list of the programs telecasted in the week. Vijay Sethupathi starrer 'Dharma Durai' and Suriya starrer 'Thaana Serndha Kootam' got the second and third place respectively. On the career front, Sivakarthikeyan will be seen in ‘Doctor’ directed by Nelson. He also will be seen next in 'Ayalaan' helmed by R Ravi Kumar . The film that has the music composition of  A R Rahman is produced by 24 AM Studios and KJR Studios. Rakul Preet Singh , Bhanu Priya Isha Koppikar, Yogi Babu and Karunakaran  are in the cast.
