Suriya-Hari's 'Aruvaa' not planing to resume the shoot sooner

COVID-19 Pandemic have brought an inevitable blocking of film production and releases all over the world.

Despite some relaxation recently by the TN government, it has been revoked due to alarmingly increasing coronavirus positive cases. While there are several phases of testing are going on, there is definite timeline for the vaccinations for the COVID 19. The movie makers have decided to go for the shooting only by next year.

Titled 'Aruvaa', actor Suriya's 39th with film director Hari's was supposed to begin filming in April 2020, targeting Diwali 2020 release but plans spoiled due to COVID-19.

Since the the situation is not getting any close to normal and lockdowns being extended, it is being suggested now that the Aruvaa's filming might be postponed to early next year. Reports say that the singam actor has now informed the team that the shooting can go on floors by January of next year. Considering the safety of his coworkers, Suriya like to put on hold due to the spread of the pandemic. However, nothing official has been announced as yet.

Aruvaa is the 6th film for Hari with Suriya after Vel, Aaru and the three Singam films. Aruvaa marks composer D Imman’s first collaboration with both Suriya and director Hari.

It was earlier said that Suriya will team up with director Siva for his 39th film, but the plan has been dropped as Siva began work on Rajinikanth’s 'Annaatthe'. 'Aruvaa' is produced by Gnanavel Raja of Studio Green and has Raashi Khanna plays female lead in this movie.

Meanwhile, Suriya is currently awaiting the release of Sudha Kongara’s 'Soorarai Pottru'. The actor also has a film with Vetri Maaran, which has been titled 'Vaadi Vaasal', in the pipeline.
