Vadivelu files complaint against Singamuthu and Manobala
Actor Vadivelu has lodged a complaint with special officer of Nadigar Sangam against Manobala and Singamuthu for allegedly defaming him in an YouTube interview.

Manobala runs a YouTube channel named Waste Paper who occasionally interviews celebrities who are in mainstream media. In one such show, Manobala interviewed comedian Singamuthu, in which they discussed Singamuthu's issues with actor Vadivelu. Singamuthu seem to have made derogatory comment against Vadivelu.

Felt hurt by the Singamuthu's statement, Vadivelu lodged a complaint against Manobala and Singamuthu at Nadigar Sangam saying for defaming him. "In the interview by Manobala, Singamuthu had made derogatory comments about me. Manobala, in turn, had shared the same on the Nadigar Sangam WhatsApp group. I am already fighting a legal battle with Singamuthu. And, this has put me under lot of stress. I request you to take action on the same," Vadivelu said in his statement. And it looks like Manobala circulated the video in Whatsapp group among people from the film industry, going by Vadivelu's statement.

Vadivelu and Singamuthu have starred in several movies together. The duo’s combination is among the most famous ones in Tamil movies and is always lauded by fans and movie buffs. The two, however, had a huge downturn after a property problem was raised ten years back and they are not in good terms since then.

Vadivelu was last seen in Atlee Kumar’s Mersal, the actor was said to be seen in Mysskin’s next untitled film alongside Simbu in a lead role. There are also reports that Vadivelu met R Parthiban and they are going to announce their collaboration soon. Also, Vadivelu has been roped in to play a key role in Kamal Haasan’s Thalaivan Irukindran.
