Anikha Surendran who played as Ajith's daughter in couple of films is going to play female lead for a Malayalam film.

Anikha Surendran debuted as child artist in a Malayalam movie 'Chotta Mumbai'. After seeing her performance in the movie she got chances in 'Kadha Thudarunnu' and '5 Sundarikal'. Her performance was highly appreciated and grabbed lot of attention. Gautham Vasudev Menon roped her in the cop thriller 'Yennai Arindhaal', which is her Tamil debut played the role of Ajith's step daughter.

Her other Tamil movies include 'Mruthan' with Jayam Ravi and Vijay Sethupathi's 'Nanum Rowdy Thaan'. The adorable girl also played the lead role as younger version of Jayalalitha in Gautham Menon's 'Queen' web series on MX Player.
