Actor Arulnithi's fourteenth film, with debutant director Innasi Pandiyan has been titled 'Diary'. The first look of the title has been unveiled on the occasion of Arulnithi's birthday yesterday.

Written and directed by Innasi Pandiyan, the film also stars Aadukalam Kishore, Jayaprakash, Sha Ra, Isaiaruvi anchor Thanigai, and Dhanam of YouTube channel Nakkalites fame. Innasi Pandiyan is the writer and co-director of Ajay Gnanamuthu-Vikram‘s 'Cobra'. He has also worked with director Arivazhagan of 'Eeram' fame.

The film is touted to be an investigative thriller. Pavithra, a doctor from Singapore, plays the female lead. 'Diary' is bankrolled by producer S Kathiresan under the banner of Five Star Creations LLP and co-produced by Sekar Babu.

Director Vetrimaaran took to Facebook to release the poster of 'Dairy'. It is noteworthy that Kathiresan was the producer of Vetrimaaran’s first film 'Polladhavan' with Dhanush.

'Dairy' is an investigative thriller and story of film is based on true incidents, in which Arulnithi is playing the role of a cop. It also added that the film has been shot in Chennai, Kotagiri, Coimbatore, Coonoor, and Ooty. The director says it will be an edge-of-the-seat thriller with many twists and turns. The movie has wrapped up the shooting in February and in post-production stage.

Arulnithi will also feature in debutant N Rajasekar’s Kalathil Sandhipom and popular ‘Eruma Saani’ YouTuber Vijay Kumar Rajendran’s feature directorial debut tentatively titled ‘Arulnithi 15’.
