Dulquer Salmaan signed another multi-lingual biopic
Birthday boy, actor Dulquer Salmaan, 34 today, revealed his fans on his birthday that he will be playing Lieutenant Ram in a multi-lingual period drama.

Dulquer Salmaan impressed everyone by playing Gemini Ganesan in the Tamil-Telugu bilingual film 'Nadigaiyar Thilagam'. The actor has also playing Sukumara Kurup, the most wanted Kerala fugitive. Dulquer almost finished shooting for Kurup and the glimpse of the film was unveiled earlier today on Dulquer's birthday.

The latest update is that Dulquer has signed a multilingual biopic film with Swapna Cinema, producer of Mahanati. The actor announced the news on social media by sharing a poster of the untitled film. In the film, which is a love story set in 1964, Dulquer Salmaan will play the role of Lieutenant Ram. "It is my pleasure and honor to associate with Hanu Raghavapudi, Swapna Cinemas and Vyjayanthi Movies for this trilingual period drama. Thank you for this lovely birthday surprise. Can't wait to don the role of Lieutenant Ram!" Dulquer Salmaan wrote in the tweet.

This untitled film will be directed by Hanu Raghavapudi. The film will be made in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam. Vishal Chandrashekar will be composing the music. The pre-production formalities have already been wrapped up and the shooting is likely to kick-off towards the end of 2020. The other details about the film are still under wrap.

Earlier on Tuesday, Dulquer had also shared a sneak peek into his upcoming Malayalam film Kurup. Bankrolled by Dulquer’s Wayfarer Films and M-Star Entertainment, Kurup is made on the budget of Rs 35 crore, reportedly Dulquer’s most expensive venture.
