Director Suresh Sangaiah made debut with Vidharth and Raveena starrer 'Oru Kidaiyin Karunai Manu' was critically acclaimed.

Now the director's second film with Premji and 'Auto Shankar' web-series fame Swayam Siddha in the lead role has been titled 'Sathiya Sothanai'.

R Madhavan took to social media to announce the project and the title of the film. Bigg Boss Tamil Season 3 fame Reshma Pasupuleti has been roped into play an important role in the film. Touted to be a satire comedy with some beautiful emotions just like 'Oru Kidayin Karunai Manu', 80 year old actor Mayakka will be seen as the antagonist and her role is said to be quite interesting. We learned the shooting of this rural comedy entertainer is already complete and the makers are currently focusing on the post-production works.

The film has music scored by Raguraam and cinematography by RV Saran who shot 'Oru Kidayin Karunai Manu'. Produced by Sameer Bharat Ram's Super Talkies in association with Touchwood Studios, Sathiya Sothanai has editing by Venkat Raajen, art direction by Vasudevan, lyrics by Velmurugan and dialogues penned by V Gurunathan.
