Actor Politician Sarath Kumar is making OTT debut with 'Birds of Prey - The Hunt Begins'. Sarath Kumar's wife Radikaa Sarathkumar is bank rolling the film or series under her banner 'Radaan Mediaworks'.

This movie or series is based on Archana Sarat's novel of the same name and it was launched by Sarath Kumar himself in 2017. Impressed with the fiction novel, the actor now decided to make it as a visual entertainer. Radikaa Sarathkumar announced the project with the first look posters in her twitter handle Tuesday (14th July) being the actor's birthday.

"Sarath Kumar sir was not only kind and humble enough to launch the book of a debut author but he has also taken it to the screen," the author wrote following the announcement of the web entertainment.

Touted to a physiological crime thriller, the web series/ movie is about child abuse and how it affects the children. No other details regarding the director, other cast or crew was available at launch. Nor is their any information regarding the streaming platform that will host Sarath Kumar’s first web outing. Sarath Kumar was last seen in Mani Ratnam's banner for 'Vaanam Kottattum' directed by Dhana, which is the family drama also starred Vikram Prabhu, Aishwarya Rajesh, Shanthnu Bhagyaraj, and Radikaa in prominent roles.

He is also actively involved in politics with his own party All India Samathuva Makkal Katchi from 2007.
