Superstar's 'Annaatthe' not dropped, confirms production team

Over last few days there has been lot of speculations involving the Superstar's upcoming movie 'Annaatthe' with director Siruthai Siva.

With the pandemic issues putting an end to all shooting and production works temporarily, it was said that Rajinikanth is stepping out of ‘Annatthae’ and has returned back the paid remuneration to the producer of the film, Sun Pictures, due to his health conditions.

Recently, there were some reports that the producer of 'Annaatthe' was unhappy over their discussion with Rajinikanth regarding the pay package and the film was on the verge to be shelved.

Now, the latest buzz is that there are no plans of dropping 'Annaatthe' and fans should not believe in rumors said the producer. In an recent interection with an online portal, the production team has confirmed that there are no such plans of dropping the film and requested the fans to not believe in any such rumors. They also confirmed to resume the shooting once the pandemic situation returns to normalcy.

So there isn’t any truth about the remuneration being returned and he has taken health issues into consideration and will shoot once the situations are back to normal.

Touted to be a village drama, 'Annaatthe' features a huge star cast that includes Rajinikanth, Khushbu, Meena, Keerthy Suresh, Nayanthara, Prakash Raj, Sathish, Soori, and many others in main roles. The music of the film is scored by D Imman, and produced by Kalanithi Maaran under the banner Sun Pictures.
