After the success of 'Kadai Kutty Singam' with Karthi and 'Namma Veettu Pillai' with Sivakarthikeyan, the national award winning director Pandiraj is joining hands with Suriya.

Filmmaker Pandiraj supposed to direct Suriya for a rural entertainer before his 'Namma Veettu Pillai', but postponed due to Suriya's other commitments. Suriya had previously produced Pandiraj’s Pasanga 2 but this would be the first time he will act in his direction.

Sun Pictures which earlier produced 'Namma Veettu Pillai' is bank rolling the new project with Suriya. An official announcement on the film is expected soon after the cast and crew are finalized.

Actor Suriya who is awaiting the release of Sudha Kongara's 'Soorarai Potru', has a strong line-up of films including mass commercial action entertainer 'Aruvaa' with director Hari, revenge action drama 'Vaadivasal' with director Vetri Maaran. Besides, he is also in talks with director Gautham Vasudev Menon for a film which is yet to be confirmed.

We hear that Suriya will join Pandiraj after completing 'Vaadi Vasal' and 'Aruvaa'.
