On the occasion of Suriya's birthday, his upcoming film with director Vetrimaaran titled 'Vaadivaasal' first look poster is out now.

The makers of the film took to social media and shared the first look poster in which Suriya is seen as a rustic bull tamer with intense look and the rural backdrop look promising.

Kalaipuli Thanu, the producer of the movie had secured the rights of the novel titled Vaadivaasal by Tamil writer CS Chellappa. And, as the title suggests, the film is based on the novel which is about Jallikattu, an ancient sport in Tamil Nadu.

Kalaipuli S Thanu had earlier informed on Twitter that the film will be produced and released under banner V Creations.

Fans of the actor are going crazy over the first look poster and are sharing their excitement on social media.

GV Prakash, the composer of the film said that the character design poster was being released on the big day. He wrote, "#vaadivaasal #வாடிவாசல் ... Character design poster from #teamvaadivaasal on his birthday #happybirthdaySuriya ... #GV75 @Suriya_offl @VetriMaaran @theVcreations @rajsekarpandian." He stated that they have started the audio works of the film and that his composition for the film will be more special.

The complete list of cast and crew for the film is yet to be revealed.

On the other hand, Suriya's 'Soorarai Pottru' is expected to be released as soon as the lockdown is lifted. Suriya also has 'Aruvaa' directed by Hari which marks the sixth collaboration between Suriya and Hari. Raashi Khanna has been roped in to pair the actor with music by D. Imman.
