Vemal - Soori's Kodaikanal fishing trip ends up in trouble
Due to the ongoing coronavirus lockdown, there are strict rules for last four months and travel between districts are prohibited without obtaining proper permission from the government.

Meantime, actor Soori who has been spending this lockdown time at his village with his family, was posting interesting and funny videos from his village time to time on social media to entertain his fans. Now the comedy actor and actor Vemal has got into trouble with the forest department.

Looks like on July 17, actor Vemal and Soori along with their friends went on a trip to Kodaikanal from their hometown Madurai. Pictures of them with their friends at various places in Kodaikanal went viral on social media. A particular pic shows Vemal posed for the camera by holding the fish which is caught from the lake on the background. It is learnt that they had violated rules by fishing at the Berijam lake in the hill station. It is being reported that the actors violated the restraining order in the city of Kodaikanal.

The Forest department has fined Soori and Vemal a sum of rupees two thousand each and were let off with a warning not to violate the rules again.

Vemal is gearing up for his next movie 'Kulasami' that has Vijay Sethupathi writing the dialogues as well as playing a supporting role. Soori is also preparing for his next big movie as hero directed by Vetrimaaran and produced by Elred Kumar.
