Suriya reacts to Meera Mithun's allegations, thanks Bharathiraja
Recently, Bigg Boss season 3 controversial contestant Meera Mithun criticized Vijay and Suriya in a series of tweets and videos saying that they are products of nepotism. She also passed below the belt comments on Suriya's wife Jyotika and Vijay's wife Sangeeta.

Veteran director Bharathiraja has issued a strong statement condemning Meera Mithun's speech against actor Vijay and Suriya. Bharathiraja has mentioned in his statement that Vijay and Suriya are disciplined actors and their marriage life is a standing proof for their dignity. In his letter, he had also called out Nadigar Sangam for not supporting the two leading stars.

Acknowledging Bharathiraja’s statement, Suriya took to his Twitter space and requested his fans to only concentrate on productive things and not to waste time on unnecessary things. He also thanked Bharathiraja for standing up for him.

In his recent tweet, Suriya, without mentioning Meera Mithun's name, requested his fans to not pay heed to such comments. He has quoted his own tweet from 2018, in which, he wrote that his fans shouldn't respond to such comments and lower their standards. Hi tweet reads, “I wish to use the time and energy of my brothers and sisters for productive purposes. My heartfelt thanks to Iyakkunar Imayam Bharathiraja for his support.”

On the work front, Suriya will be next seen in Sudha Kongara’s 'Soorarai Pottru'. Recently reports suggest he is out from Hari's 'Aruvaa'. Suriya has 'Vaadivasal' with director Vettrimaaran, which is bankrolled by Kalaippuli S Thanu’s V Creations.
