It is known that Vijay's next biggie 'Thalapathy 65' will be produced by Sun Pictures while A.R. Murugadoss is directing the movie which marks his fourth film with Vijay after giving hart-trick hits 'Thuppakki', 'Kaththi' and 'Sarkar'.

In a recent online chat, when questioned about his upcoming project with Vijay, director AR Murugadoss has revealed that he is not in the position to make an announcement on his next project, as the official announcement will be coming from the production house – Sun Pictures. “The film is produced by a very big banner, and they would make the announcement in a proper fashion. I don’t think, it will be correct on my part to comment about the project before the production house makes the news official. So, I can talk about the film, only after a proper announcement is made by the production house. I don’t have anything to say about the project at the moment. But we can soon expect a proper announcement for sure.”, said the Dharbar director.

Murugadoss has also cleared the air that the film is a fresh subject, and not a sequel to their 2012 movie 'Thuppakki', one of the biggest blockbusters in the career of Thalapathy Vijay.

It was reported that 'Thalapathy 65' will have Thaman scoring the music for the film while other young technicians are in talks for the cinematography, editing and the other departments.

The source adds that stunt choreographers Anbariv are in talks to take care of the fights in 'Thalapathy 65' and this will be the first film with Vijay for the twins. The duo received the National Award for Best Stunt Choreography for 'KGF: Chapter 1' in 2018 and are also working in its sensational sequel.

The announcement of this mega project with the rest of the cast and crew is expected on any day pretty soon. Stay tuned.
