Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo sets new TRP Record beats the record of Ajith's Viswasam and Vijay's Bigil
One such comparion is for the TRP ratings for the movies between Kollywood and Tollywood. Not while ago, Thala Ajith starrer has earned the top spot in the TRP chart on its television premiere for a while. The sources suggest that it is the highest TRP earned by a film in both the Tamil film industry and South Indian cinema.
Previously, 'Pichaikkaran' used to be the most viewed South film with the impression of 17696 besides 'Baahubali 2 achieving 17070 and 'Sarkar' with 16906 impressions on its world TV premiere but now 'Viswasam' has surpassed the record with a huge 18143 impressions on its world TV premiere.
Vijay's sports drama 'Bigil', which is directed by Atlee, hit the screens during Diwali last year. The film was well-received by the audience and created a huge record at the box office. The movie was premiered for Pongal festival earlier this year and it topped the TRP ratings for the week. Interestingly, Vijay's 'Bigil' premiere failed to break the TRP record of Ajith's 'Viswasam'.
Later, joins the Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu starrer 'Sarileru Neekevvaru ' topped the TRP with 23.4 million viewers. And now, Allu Arjun, the stylish actor of Telugu cinema, has surpassed the record of the films of many actors like Ajith, Vijay and Mahesh Babu.
The Trivikram directorial 'Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo' which telecasted in Gemini TV for Indepedence day weekend, has registered 29.4 TRP which, by far, is the highest ever rating point for any Telugu film or even in South India.
