The most awaited film of the year Thalapathy Vijay and Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi starrer 'Master' directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj release has been postponed indefinitely due to coronavirus lockdown.

Actress Malavika Mohanan is paring with Vijay for this action thriller. Malavika is the daughter of cinematographer KU Mohanan, who had made her Tamil debut in Superstar's 'Petta' directed by Karthik Subbaraj, is celebrating her birthday today.

Malavika Mohanan will be seen playing a role of college professor in 'Master', reveals the team. On this occasion, the makers of the film have released a poster featuring both Vijay and Malavika today. The writer of the film Rathnakumar wished Malavika by tweeting "Happy birthday professor".

'Master' has music score by Anirudh and Vijay and Vijay Sethupathi have an ensemble cast as costars that includes Malavika Mohanan, Andrea Jeremiah, Shantanu Bhagyaraj, Arjun Das, Gauri Kishan, Brigida and Sriman.
