We reported yesterday that actor Vishnu Vishal's psycho crime thriller 'Ratsasan' directed by Ramkumar ranked number one Tamil...
While there were reports earlier that Vishnu Vishal and director Ramkumar would be collaborating again for the sequel to 'Mundasupatti', a 2014 super-hit period comedy, it looks like the actor-director duo also have 'Ratsasan' sequel on the cards.
When a fan asks Vishal for 'Ratsasan' sequel, Vishnu Vishal tagged Ram Kumar asking if the sequel script is ready, to which the director replied that it is in process ("poitruku"). The exchange has hinted that the sequel might be happening soon, if the director's reply is not just for fun.

The film, which stars Vishnu Vishal, Amala Paul, Ammu Abhirami, Munishkanth and Saravanan, among others, follows the story of a cop who solves the mystery of a serial killer's gruesome murders in the city. While 'Ratsasan' is ranked third in the top rated Indian films, 'Vikram Vedha', 'Nayakan', 'Anbe Sivam' are ranked 4, 5 and 6 respectively.
If 'Ratsasan' sequel works out, this is the third sequel in Vishnu Vishal’s list after 'Mundasupatti 2' and 'Indru Netru Naalai 2'. Apart from these, the actor also has Manu Anand’s 'FIR', Prabhu Solomon’s 'Kaadan', and Karthick Murali’s 'Mohandas' in various stages of production.
