Bigg Boss Tamil fame Aarav Nafeez and Gautham Vasudev Menon's 'Joshua Imai Pol Kaakha' actress Raahei entered wedlock today, on September 6.

The couple got married today, at a private ceremony today at a plush hotel in Chennai. The wedding was attended by his close friends and family, former contestants of season one following the Covid-19 protocol.

The ceremony was attended by Bigg Boss Season 1 contestants - Snehan, Gayatri Raghuram, Bindhu Madhavi, Harathi, Harish Kalyan and Suja Varunee. Renowned directors like KS Ravikumar, Charan, Vijay and Ranjith Jeyakodi also graced the occasion.

According to a source, Arav and Raahei knew each other for almost a year now and the two decided get married post their parents approval.

Within a few minutes, pictures of Arav and Raahei started doing rounds on the internet. The two looked adorable in their traditional outfit. Fans of the actor sent congratulatory messages and wished them luck.

Aarav was earlier linked to his Bigg Boss co-contestant Oviya Helen, and reportedly they were in a relationship for a while. Their chemistry inside Bigg Boss Tamil house helped to gain TRP of the season. However, Oviya walked out of the show citing healthy reasons and revealed that they both broke up as she does not believe in marriage.

Oviya and Arav continued to be close even after their exit from the show but however, claimed that they were only friends. However, the news of Arav and Raahei’s wedding has come as a huge surprise to Oviya fans.

It was not long ago that Oviya had shared a cryptic message, “Just a few days ago, Oviya shared a cryptic tweet message and wrote, “Those we love never go away!they walk beside us Unseen,unheard but always near,so loved, so missed but always so very dear (Sic).”

On the work front, Arav is awaiting the release of 'Raja Bheema' directed by Naresh Sampath, which is in post-production stage. Raahei is also awaiting the release of her debut film, 'Joshua Imai Pol Kaakha', directed by Gautham Menon.
