'Thullatha Manamum Thullum' fame director Ezhil's last two films 'Saravanan Irukka Bayamaen' with Udhayanithi Stalin and 'Velainu Vandhutta Vellaikaaran' with Vishnu Vishal mad a decent run at the box-office.

Known for giving quality films on a low budget, the director is now ready for his next and involved in story discussions. If sources are to be believed director turned actor Parthiepan and Gautham Karthik will be sharing screen space for his new film.

Touted to be a romantic comedy, sources suggest that Parthiepan is playing the main antagonist in the film and Gautham plays the lead hero. An official announcement regarding this new project is likely to be made soon.

Director Ezhil is currently ready with the comedy entertainer 'Jaga Jaala Killaadi' starring Vishnu Vishal and Nivetha Pethuraj in the lead roles and 'Aayiram Jenmangal' with G.V. Prakash remain unreleased after being in production hell for quite a while.

Meanwhile, Gautham Karthik is currently acting in director Muthiah's upcoming film, which also mark the comeback of actress Lakshmi Menon after four years.

Gautham Karthik worked with the director in 'Devarattam' before. This project was supposed to start in April but due to COVID-19 situation the shooting has been delayed and postponed.
