Directors Gautham Vasudev Menon, AL Vijay, Venkat Prabhu and Nalan Kumarasamy have come together for the first time for an anthology film. Titled as Kutti Love Story, the film has been produced by Ishari K Ganesh of Vels Film International.

The official promo teaser has been released, in which each director narrates a romance scene of their respective stories in their own voiceover. All the four stories will have the theme of love as a common factor.

Gautham Vasudev Menon released the 1 minute and 50 seconds teaser via his official Twitter handle. He tweeted, "Extremely happy to join hands with @VelsFilmIntl and my fellow filmmakers @vp_offl #DirectorVijay #NalanKumaraswamy for the anthology #KuttiLoveStory (sic)"

The first short story has Gautham Vasudev Menon's voice over where he reads out the conversation between a couple, in which, the guy tries to console his girlfriend that the relationship he has with another girl is purely platonic.

The second story has AL Vijay's voice over reading out the conversation of a young couple who are stuck in rain. The poetic conversation alludes their love with the rain that never stops.

The third one has the poem describing the romantic relationship between a husband and wife by Nalan Kumarasamy.

And the final couple-conversation has Venkat Prabhu's voice over that recalls the sweet relationship ego of a couple.
Speaking about the project, producer Ishari K Ganesh says, "Love stories have an unfading impact among the audience and I had been personally looking to produce and present a film in this genre for a very long time. As an audience, I have fervently admired the poetic, voguish and emotional dimension of love that Gautham Vasudev Menon, Venkat Prabhu, Vijay and Nalan Kumarasamy have crafted and portrayed, irrespective of what genre their movies belong to. I am extremely happy to be collaborating with these great filmmakers and look forward to experiencing the final product.”

Kutti Love Story will be released on Amazon Prime Video OTT platform. The shooting for this anthology has been wrapped up already. The entire shooting of this film happened in different time frames during this lockdown in the last five months with all precautionary measures taken. Vijay’s portion will involve Megha Akash and VIP and Vaanam Kottattum fame Amitash Pradhan in the lead roles. An official announcement on the other cast and crew is expected soon.

On the other-hand, Gautham Menon is awaiting the release of action thriller 'Joshua Imai Pol Kaakha' and spy thriller with Vikram, 'Dhruva Natchathiram'. Venkat Prabhu is busy with Simbu's 'Maanaadu' and Vijay is making Jayalalitha's biopic 'Thalaivi' with Kangana Ranaut. Nalan Kumarasamy is said to be teaming up with Studio Green for couple of projects, apart from penning the sequel to his directorial debut, 'Soodhu Kavvum'.
