On her Instagram page she shared photographs and wrote, "From the moment I met you, I knew that I had found a new kind of happiness I only thought existed in fairytales. On this day, one year ago, we promised our commitment to each other in a beautiful American ceremony (part 1 of wedding weekend!), surrounded by our friends and family. It seems like just yesterday that we were standing across from each other, exchanging vows. Since that day, your actions keep reminding me that I’ve never made a better choice in my life."

She then added: "I’m the luckiest wife in this world to be blessed with such a loving, compassionate, strong and honest man to call my own. One year of marriage has taught me that love is not only about happy times, but overcoming obstacles, facing challenges, fighting to be together, holding on and never letting go. It’s about being on the same team and supporting one another through everything life throws at us (including a covid-wildfire world!). I couldn’t have dreamt of a better life partner and love you more with each passing day. Thank you for the best years of my life so far, choosing me to spend your life with, and for just being YOU. Our first year is just a trailer of what’s to come and I can’t wait for what’s next.⁣⁣⁣ One year down, forever to go."

The couple is residing in Portland, Oregon, which is one of the state affected by on-going wild-fire in USA. Few days ago, Richa shared in twitter how she was struggling to breath fresh air when dirty smokey air affected the whole state.

The wildfires burning on the West Coast of US became an all but inescapable crisis across the country, with more than five million acres charred in the state of Oregon, California and Washington, tens of thousands of people displaced and at least 27 people dead. Due to the fire, dust and smoke the sky turned to orange and look like alien invaded planet we see in movies.

At just 21 years of age, Richa Gangopadhyay became the winner of the Miss India Michigan pageant and followed it up with the Miss India USA in 2007. She represented the United States in the 17th Annual Miss India Worldwide Pageant held in Johannesburg and secured a place in the Top 10.

We wish the actress "Happy wedding anniversary".
