The first international single of GV Prakash was launched by Dhanush and AR Rahman on social media today.

G.V.Prakash is a young talent who had recently collaborated with Ontario-based musician Julia Gartha and launched his debut international album titled Cold Nights with lyrics penned by Julia Gartha. The first single from the album, named 'High and Dry', was unveiled online on today by Oscar-winner A.R.Rahaman and Dhanush on twitter.

'High and Dry' was composed by Jivoshan Alkar in GV Prakash’s own studio. Randy Merrill, a famous American technician, has mastered the song. He has worked with many international musicians including Adele, Taylor Swift, Katy Perry, Maroon 5.

The song which falls under the electronic pop genre revolves around the emotional turmoil between the estranged lovers.

Now actor Suriya took to twitter and congratulated the 'Asuran' composer for his milestone acheivement. He said he is listening to the song in repeat mode, by writing "Congrats on the first international single!! @gvprakash @JuliaGartha #HighandDry on loop mode!!!".

Suriya and GV Prakash worked together and is currently awaiting the release of Sudha Kongara directed 'Soorarai Pottru', which will be streaming on Amazon Prime Video from October 30.
