So far we learned writer Selvaraj and Composer Thaman are on board for the film. Earlier reports suggest Santhosh Sivan, the renowned cinematographer who cranked the camera for the 'Thuppakki', is joining the crew of Thalapathy 65. However report surface that the maker are in talk with Manoj Paramahamsa to crank the camera.

Manoj debuted in 'Eeram' produced by director Shankar and his work was greatly appreciated by critics. He is known for his work in 'Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa', 'Poovarasam Peepee' and 'Enai Noki Paayum Thota'.
