Vijay - Vetrimaaran movie: Script work have started

Vetrimaaran confirms he is working on a script for actor Vijay and fans were highly excited
Ace director Vetrimaaran is one of the most successful directors in Tamil cinema predominantly worked with actor Dhanush.

We reported about a month ago that Vetrimaaran has confirmed to do a film with Thalapathy Vijay and both fans and cinephiles were highly excited as the collaboration sounded exciting.

While Vetrimaaran was expected to join with Vijay in his 65th film, it seems things didn't go well as planned. Now, in a recent interview with a leading magazine, Vetrimaaran has revealed about doing a film with Vijay in the future and has started working on the scripts for his film with Vijay. he is going to wait for his call to start the project and the much-expected combo will come together for sure in the future.

Director Vetrimaaran has already committed to finish three projects, which are in various stages of making.

An untitled project with Soori in the lead, bankrolled by Elred Kumar. The director is expected to resume working on his film with Soori in the lead. It was supposed to shot much earlier but had to be postponed due to COVID-19 pandemic as the film demands to be shot the Middle East.

'Vaadivasal' with actor Suriya which is based on a popular Tamil novel of the same name. The makers recently released the first-look poster of the film. 'Vaadivasal', written by CS Chellapa, is the story about Jallikattu, the ancient bull taming sport played in Tamil Nadu. The film will be produced by Kalaipuli S Thanu, who had bankrolled Vetrimaaran’s last film 'Asuran' starring Dhanush.

Vetrimaaran also soon planning to resume shooting for Vada Chennai 2, which will be about the rise of Dhanush as an accidental gangster from north Madras.

Meanwhile Dhanush and Vetrimaaran were said to be reuniting for another untitled Tamil project which will be bankrolled by producer Elred Kumar, but nothing has been confirmed yet.

On the other hand, Vijay is awaiting the release of his next with Lokesh Kanagaraj titled Master. The action-thriller was earlier slated to be released on April 9, 2020 but was later postponed indefinitely owing to the COVID-19 regulations. The highly-anticipated movie will feature Vijay Sethupathi, Malavika Mohanan, Nassar, Shanthanu Bhagyaraj, Sriman, Andrea Jeremiah, Sanjeev, Srinath, VJ Ramya and Azhagam Perumal essaying key roles.

Master is bankrolled by Xavier Britto under XB Film Creators in association with Seven Screen Studio.
