Kollywood heartthrob Ashok Selvan, who was last seen in the romantic comedy, 'Oh My Kadavule', is making his Telugu debut opposite Nithya Menen and Ritu Varma, in a film written and directed by debutant Ani IV Sasi.

The film is expected to be a romantic drama and has been titled 'Ninnila Ninnila'. The makers revealed the titled of the film along with the first look poster today.

Going by the first-look poster, 'Ninnila Ninnila' is about food and Ashok Selvan is rumoured to play an overweight chef. The heads of Nithya Menen, Ashok Selvan and Ritu Varma are served on a platter with noodles, desserts and some food scattered around the plates.

Sharing the first-look poster, Ashok Selvan wrote, "Ladies and gents, presenting you Love on a platter - “Ninnila Ninnila” a beautiful film from the heart :) My telugu debut. With the most fabulous cast and crew! (sic)."

Billed as a romcom set in London, it is learnt that Ashok has put on 20 kilos to play the role of an obese chef, who weighs around 100-kgs. The weight of his character is said to have a connection with the core premise of the story and it is going to be an interesting watch.

Also starring Nasser and Sathya, the shooting of the film has been completed. Produced by BVSN Prasad under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra LLP, 'Ninnila Ninnila' has music scored by Premam sensation Rajesh Murugesan, cinematography by Divakar Mani and editing by Navin Nooli.

'Ninnila Ninnila' will hit the screens soon after the reopening of theatres.
