CV Kumar, the popular producer who gave movies like 'Pizza', 'Attakathi', 'Soodhu Kavvum', 'Mundaasupatti', 'Indru Netru Naali', 'Irudhi Suttru', 'Iraivi' has directed couple of movies.

Kumar directed sci-fi mystery thriller 'Maayavan' and action crime thriller 'Gangs of Madras' and both films were critically acclaimed, but they didn't do well at Box-Office numbers.

Now CV Kumar announced his third film as a director which will feature actors Rajesh Kanagasabai, Daniel Balaji, Velu Prabhakaran, and Anupama Kumar in the lead role.

On the day of Vijayadasami, the producer cum director took to twitter and posted “On this auspicious day of victory I Happy to share my next directorial venture *ing @shrrushtikartha @DanielBalaje #Veluprabakaran camera by @prakash2554 edit #aswin @onlynikil @digitallynow.”

Touted to be a full-fledged thriller, Kumar is planning to kick start the shoot after Diwali. Prakash Rudhra will take care of the cinematography and Ashwin has been roped in as the editor of the film.

Kumar is also producing 4G and Titanic: Kadhalum Kavunthu Pogum and both the films have entered the post-production stage.
